Matt Jeffreys, M.D., is the Medical Director for the Post Traumatic Stress Disorders Clinical Team (PCT) for the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. He also serves a a PTSD mentor through the National Center for PTSD, providing clinical, educational, and administrative support to other PTSD programs throughout the United States.

He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1985 and completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Medical School in 1989. Dr. Jeffreys was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 1985 and was accepted as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 2008.
