Andrés Rodriguez

Andres Rodriguez is a second-generation Mexican American, native of Kansas City, born to the legacy of the migration of farm workers to that region. He has studied English Literature at the University of Iowa, Stanford University, and the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is the author of a collection of poetry, Night Song (Tia Chucha Press), and a study of Keats, Book of the Heart (Lindisfarne Books). He has  published poems in the Harvard Review, New York Quarterly, Cortland Review, and other journals. In 2007 he won the Maureen Egan Writers Exchange Award in Poetry (Missouri), sponsored by Poets & Writers.
